2021-02-16 · Neurodivergence, or neurodiversity, is a relatively new concept in mental health. This idea juxtaposes the neurotypical or the opposite of what it means to be neurodivergent. These terms came on the scene at a time when it was popular to characterize certain mental traits as positive or negative.
